Read all about it…

It’s been two weeks since I met hundreds of lovely brides at One Fine Day Sydney, and there’s been some lovely recaps since. Check out the pretty video and pictures put together by the OFD team here. The Bridal Collective also named Blooms as one of their favourite displays at the fair. You can read the post here.

It was also very exciting seeing an article on the fair in The Daily Telegraph on Saturday by Melissa Matheson. I got a huge buzz when I saw my chair flowers featured as one of eight wedding ideas, but was a little sad when I saw that Blooms hadn’t been mentioned when other wedding vendors had been under other pictures. A big shout out to Make-up by Megan, Melissa Cauchi Hairdressing and Mario’s Kitchen, whose work was also featured but not credited. Well, I’m sure the feature provided couples with some lovely inspiration in any case.

One Fine weekend

Sunday, 03 February 2013

What an incredible weekend I’ve just had. One Fine Day bridal fair, set up in Sydney’s Sun Studios, was a great opportunity for me to me hundreds of gorgeous couples planning their weddings. I went for a rustic, vintage-style garden theme for my display. The cream, peach and soft pink colour scheme and the sweet little tea-party props were a huge hit, as were the samples of red velvet and chocolate mud cake I gave away. If you were there, you would have smelt the lovely scent of the cinnamon delight, pink and cream David Austin roses, and the stunning cream and peach garden roses. Also featuring on the day were lisianthus, figs, succulents, eucalyptus and dusty miller foliage. If you happened to visit my stall (or you’re reading this blog for the first time!) and have any questions about the display or your own wedding flowers and cake, please feel free to email me through my contact page. A big thank you to my wonderful assistants Sue, Erin, Naomi and Paul who did a beautiful job setting up, greeting lovely brides and packing up.
