Amelia’s wedding bouquet

I had the pleasure of arranging Amelia’s wedding flowers over the summer and finally I’ve snagged a pic. Her bouquet featured a classic blend of white and vendella roses, white lisianthus, white dahlias and dusty miller. The bridesmaids featured the same types of flowers, but in shades of pale pink. Pink and white hydrangeas, lisianthus and dahlias were placed in little posies in fish-bowl vases at the reception at Waterfront, The Rocks, Sydney. It was a beautiful sunny December day, and I hope the bride enjoyed the flowers as much as I enjoyed putting them together!

I’ve got the macaron munchies

Two weeks ago I took a macaron masterclass at Baroque at The Rocks and learned how to make these delicious French delicacies. This weekend I made my own at home with my brand-spanking-new KitchenAid. There are chocolate and salted caramel macarons here (the blue and pink were just food colouring experiments!). Bon apeptit!
